My very brief Oscar 2017 breakdown for those who don’t have much time to read reviews or watch movies

Written by Jesse Wilkinson

If you didn’t watch the Oscar’s last night and haven’t seen many movies this year, here’s everything you need to know:

Manchester by the Sea – sad.

Moonlight – sad, but important.

Arrival – interesting.

Nocturnal Animals – creepy and sad.

La La Land – annoying.

Hell or High Water – I love Jeff Bridges.

Fences – didn’t watch it.

Hacksaw Ridge – can’t take Andrew Garfield seriously as an actor.

Hidden Figures – cool story.

The Lobster – best movie of 2016. Didn’t win anything.
