Troubles are over dude: Lebowskifest 2018 only two weeks away

Written by Jesse Wilkinson

Lebowskfest is coming back to Owen Sound!

The date is set, the lanes are booked, the white russians are waiting, and the band is ready to kick into some serious CCR (because we hate the f—ing Eagles, man). If you were at our Lebowskifest last year, you know how much fun this is.

Read our breakdown of that night here: You’re not dealing with morons here.

Whether you’re a huge a fan or not, it’s gonna be a great night out with everything looked after including bowling, bus, burgers, beverages (well one at least care of Black Bellows Brewing Company, and the band. Pick up Game is going to rock the house with two Lebowski-inspired sets.

Costumes are not mandatory, but there will be prizes for those who choose to dress up. It’s pretty easy to throw a robe on, though, and experience life as the Dude for an evening.

Here’s what you need to know:

The bus departs from Heartwood Hall at 5:30 on Friday, April 20 for the Bowling Alley and returns to Heartwood at 7:30 for food, music, beer and prizes.

In n Out Burgers will be supplied by The Bus Stop Restaurant at 8pm and we’ll do a half hour of trivia while enjoying a free beer from Black Bellows Brewing Company.

The band, Pick Up Game, will start their first set at 9pm and play two hour long sets with a break in between for awards and prizes.

You’ll wake up the next morning with a great story for your work friends on Monday.

Rrampt would to thank it’s official sponsor Black Bellows Brewing Company for taking part again this year. The dude would definitely abide by their tasty brews and you’ll get a free one with your ticket.

Tickets are $35 + sc and they include bus, bowling, food at the Bowling Alley, burgers at Heartwood, one beer at Heartwood, band, and prizes.

If you just want to come for the band and party, the doors will open at 8:30 and tickets are $20 at the door. They will include a beer, but no food.

Tickets are available at Heartwood Home, and from contacting Rrampt on FB or at rrampt@gmail.com.
They are also available at Ticketfly.
