Richard Laviolette: Hunnington’s Society Benefit Concert

In loving memory of our friend.
Last year Richard left us.
He left us with memories of his incredible smile, his hugs, his art, his friendship and his music. Richard was able to capture a lifetime in just one song. Feelings we didn’t know we were capable of even conjuring. From simple themes of growing up singing with his family, to complex poetry of acceptance, fear, understanding, and love. Big Love.
With this memorial a few friends from Richards high school and university days have come together to perform in tribute to his life and to his music. They will be playing Richards songs from eight different albums spanning more than 20years, along with covers that bring back memories of Richard and the amazing times they had with him through music.
This concert is for friends and family to gather and enjoy Richards memory with likeminded folk. To gather with a Big Love for Richard – there may even be a singalong.
